2012 City Cup Tournament

GLTF's Annual City Cup Tournament is a Compass Doubles format event (3 guaranteed matches) for C/D level men and B/C/D level women.

This doubles format tournament will have two divisions with a maximum of 8 teams per division (16 teams total, 32 players).

Each team is guaranteed 3 matches, snacks, a lite breakfast and a "deelish" lunch!

There will be TWO DIVISIONS (Lower and Upper) of 8 teams each based on your GLTA Rating.  To determine your GLTA rating, based on your USTA rating, go here.  The Eligibility Chart below will help you to determine what division is likely best for your team.

*NOTE: As needed, teams may get shifted between divisions based on actual ratings once all teams have registered.  We appreciate your flexibility in advance.

The team in each division with the best win/loss percentage wins. The team in each division with the second best win/loss percentage will be the consolation winner. Matches will be played with no-ad scoring, best of three-sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set.

You and your partner must be members of the GLTF on the tournament date.

If you do not have a GLTA (or USTA) rating, please let the tournament directors know, and they will help you figure out the appropriate level.

One member of the team will register and pay for the team (work out payment between you).

  • Early Bird Pricing (through June 30th): $65/team
  • Regular Pricing: $75/team
