We are stoked to announce our new Tennis league--something you've been asking for!

What is the GLTF Tennis league? Besides being a totally fun way to play and be surrounded by awesome people, it is a great opportunity to play competitive tennis in a fun and social environment. We will have 4 teams totaling 24 players at multiple levels competing in a 6-week round robin format, for the opportunity to be crowned the league Team Champions. In addition, a champion will be crowned for each category pool. Teams will be co-ed and multi-level, with players competing with players of the same level.

The league will start on March 1, 2016 at 6:30 pm, and last for six weeks with a match held every Tuesday at City College of San Francisco.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided every week.

Registration deadline is February 21st, with teams announced February 26th. Spots within the league are limited, so sign-up asap.

Schedule: League matches will be on; 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5

Time: Play will start at 6:30 pm

Play Format: Players will play one Pro Set for each score line, with a 7 point tie break played at 8-8. Game scoring will include “second deuce format” (If a game reaches second deuce, that point is sudden death). Players will be allowed a 5-minute warm up, prior to match. Match play will begin with Doubles, followed by singles.

Where: Tennis courts @ City College of San Francisco, 368 Havelock St., San Francisco, CA 94112

Fee: Only $65 and will cover all court fees, snacks, balls and also include a good time and laughs every league night.

Can't make a night of play? Get a sub! You can have any GLTF player with the same USTA ranking or below play that match for you.
