Compete with other fantasy players–win prizes

Pick the winners, and the quarterfinalists, semifinalists, and finalist in any of the men’s or women’s singles events. Fantasy signup starts as soon as draws are posted. $10/event to play. The top two fantasy winners in each event win prizes. Fantasy USGO is part of our fundraising efforts to benefit the East Palo Alto Tennis & Tutoring Program, our tournament beneficiary. You can sign up online using PayPal, or you can pay cash at the Tournament Draw Party on Thursday Night or anytime Friday, May 23 at the Stanford tournament site. Deadline for signing up is Saturday, May 24 at 9:00am.

1. Fantasy Rules

1. $10/event to play; $50 to play all singles events (probably 7-8 singles events);
2. points are earned for correctly picking the quaterfinalists, semifinalists, finalist, and/or winner;
3. sign-up starts as soon as draws are posted online and closes Saturday, 9am. Anyone can play Fantasy USGO online, and we’ll have online access at the Thursday Draw Party and all day Friday at Stanford;
4. you can change your picks up until Saturday, 9am based on Friday’s results;
5. top point getter in each event gets 50% of pot for that event, 2nd highest point getter gets 25%, and 25% goes to tournament beneficiaries;
6. do not need to be present to win;
7. winners announced Monday during the Singles Awards Ceremony

2. Sign-up/costs     

Cost is $10/event, $50 to play all singles events. Sign-up at tournament site on Friday or at the Welcome Party Thursday night.

3. Point System

Quarterfinals: 1 pt
Semifinals: 2 pts
Finalist: 3 pts
Winner: 4 pts

Triple points if you pick a non-seeded player to beat a seed;
Double points if you pick  a lower seeded player to beat a higher seeded player.
