Location: Taube Tennis Stadium, Stanford

Stanford Taube Tennis StadiumYou'll play where the pros play
The 2010 USGO returns to the Taube Family Tennis Center at Stanford University. It's where Stanford University’s Men’s and Women’s collegiate tennis teams play and it is also home to the Bank of the West Classic US Open Series WTA event. It’s where Serena, Maria, and Venus play this year (and Kim-hopefully)! The Taube Tennis Center has also hosted several major tennis championships over the years, both on the collegiate and professional levels, including over 10 years of the Bank of West Classic. Play will also be at Cañada College, just north of Stanford off Interstate 280.

USGO Tennis Village at Taube
17 championship-quality hardtrue courts: We’ll use them all for this year’s tournament, including the stadium courts. There are ample viewing areas for friends and family to watch and enjoy the competition. All of the courts are lighted and we have evening tennis sessions scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights. In addition, chair umpires will call the action for all of Monday’s finals matches. Nice!

Stanford MapSaturday Barbecue Lunch & Monday Brunch
To keep you fed and hydrated, we’ll be hosting a Southern-style barbecue lunch on Saturday for all the players and complementary Monday morning brunch for all the players and their friends. Yum!

USGO is going "Green:"
We are continuing our efforts to green the game of tennis. Plan on using reusable water bottles while on court, and enjoy the biodegradable cutlery, plates and cups for the food and drinks on site.

Other Amenities:
Between matches, players can lounge around in the Orsak Family Heritage Room, featuring an impressive display of collegiate success and a large screen TV for watching the French Open early rounds. We'll also have a "players lounge" atop the stadium for your comfortable viewing of the matches away from the pesky public. There will also be Wi-Fi access to provide near real-time tournament updates. We ’ll also be providing fee-for-service racket restringing. And of course, between matches you can check out the beautiful Stanford campus and other activities going on.

Additional Courts
We'll also be using the Stanford West tennis courts and Cañada College tennis courts, 4200 Farm Hill Boulevard, as needed, and there are warm-up courts available at Palo Alto High School, 50 Embarcadero Rd, Palo Alto, right down the street from our host hotel Palo Alto Sheraton.
