2008 GLTF Spring World Team Tennis

Yes, World Team Tennis is back and Billie Jean wants you to play. If you missed it last fall, here’s your chance to play. It’s also a great way to prepare yourself for World Team Tennis at USGO again this year.
World Team Tennis is team competition playing quick, no-ad games with coaching, playing of service lets, substitutions during sets, overtime, and lots of cheering and fun.
Each team of two women and two men will play matches consisting of first to five game sets in women’s and men’s doubles, women and men’s singles, and two mixed doubles each week of play.
It’s a great way to meet and play with other GLTF members in a fun and social atmosphere. There will be a break before the mixed-doubles are played so everyone can enjoy some fantastic food and socializing.
Draws will be limited to two divisions with four teams each. Substitutes will be available to fill your position if you miss any of the three play dates but the only way to guarantee your spot on a team is to sign up to play today.
The cost is $36.00 for three weeks of play. Food and refreshments will be provided.
The entry deadline is April 26th so be quick if you want to play.
