  • Compass Doubles format

  • 2 divisions with a maximum of 8 teams (16 players) per division 
  

  • $35 player fee includes three matches, snacks, and a delicious lunch
  
  Two Divisions:
  5.5 & 6.0 Combined USTA ratings
   Men and Women play together*
  *women will be allowed to play in the 5.5 DIVISION with a team rating not exceeding 6.0, and in the 6.0 division with a team rating not exceeding 6.5 (two women on a team).
  women choosing to pair up with a male partner must play with combined ratings of 5.5 in the 5.5 division, or 6.0 in the 6.0 division.
  Additionally, for male teams, a 3.5 with a 2.5 will not be eligible to play in this tournament.
  
  Matches will be played with no-ad scoring, best of three-sets with a third set tie-breaker. The team in each division with the best win/loss percentage wins. The team in each division with the second best win/loss percentage will be the consolation winner.
  
  Please indicate if you would like assistance from the Tournament Director to find you a doubles partner.

• Social Doubles at SFTC

  Social Doubles at the San Francisco Tennis Club is the 3rd Friday of every month. We meet on the rooftop courts from 6:30-9:30pm. It's free, fun, and open to members and non-members.
  
  Depending on the weather, we usually have about 15-50 members show up and a board member is usually hanging around to meet you and help you get on a court. If you think you might like to test drive our club, this is a good way. Please email the Social Director for more info.
  
  Bring:
  - layered clothes, it can get cold up there
  - racket
  - some extra balls
  
  You are also welcome to shower up in the locker rooms or enjoy dinner and a beer on the terrace overlooking the indoor courts.
  
  No RSVP required. (However, if you register for this event, even if you cannot make it, we will automatically have you as a contact in our system and will include you on mailings for our newsletter. Roughly once a month. You can unsubscribe any time.)
  
  The GLTF welcomes all people 18 years or older regardless of sexual identity or preferences.

  Join pro Yvonne Gallop for a clinic to improve your groundstrokes's consistency. You will be amazed by how many games you can win by just getting one more back!  This clinic is designed for the 2.5-3.5 player who is interested in taking their game to the next level.
